About

Support for teachers and students.

OES Solutions exists to support teachers and students of VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies to teach and learn with confidence.

  • Founded by practising educators, our work is grounded in a deep understanding of the VCE OES study design, classroom realities, and the time pressures teachers face. Our purpose is twofold: to lighten teacher workload through high quality, ready-to-use resources, and to ensure students experience Outdoor and Environmental Studies as it was intended; a rich, meaningful subject that builds knowledge and connection to the world around them.

We believe great teaching in VCE OES helps shape young people who are informed and committed to being socially and environmentally responsible citizens long after they leave the classroom.

  • OES Solutions is built by experienced and practising VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies teachers who understand the realities of teaching the subject in Victorian classrooms.

We know the time pressures teachers face each day and the responsibility that comes with planning and delivering a high-quality teaching and learning program. That is why everything we create is designed to save teachers time, reduce planning fatigue, and provide confidence that key knowledge and skills are being taught with clarity.

    Our resources are:

    • Directly aligned to the VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies study design

    • Classroom-tested and adaptable across a range of school contexts

    • Designed to support teaching, learning, revision, and exam preparation

    • Built to reduce workload without compromising curriculum integrity

  • We support teachers at all stages of their journey, from those new to the subject to experienced educators refining their programs. Our materials can be used to build full courses, strengthen individual lessons, or provide structured and meaningful revision for students.

At the heart of OES Solutions is a belief that the subject of Outdoor and Environmental Studies matters. When taught well, it equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to engage with complex environmental and social challenges. Our work supports teachers to deliver powerful learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom and help shape informed, socially and environmentally responsible young people.
